Event information

Experienced exams manager/officer training

Each autumn, a series of events are staged across England developed specifically for exams officers focusing upon exam regulation changes (JCQ, DfE and Ofqual) for the new academic year and how these will impact upon your role in your centre.

New exams manager/officer training

Two events are staged each academic year to support those who are new to the exams officer role or requiring a refresher course:

• Actions for Autumn (October)
• Spring into Summer (March)

Senior leader training

Two events are staged during each academic year to support senior leaders and line managers who have responsibility for examinations and assessments within their centre.

International exams training

As part of our support for international exams officers/senior leaders, we are holding two-day training events (and half-day invigilator training events) in Dubai and Qatar.

The training includes training on exam regulation changes, good practice, a focus upon specific areas of exam management and administration, and managing exam-related scenarios.

Cost

Members of The Exams Office and centres engaged in OCR qualifications can access all of our UK training events at discounted rates of:

• £265+vat per delegate (non-discounted rate is £295+vat)

Locations

All of our training events are held at high-quality venues, with refreshments and lunch included (please note that refreshments only are provided for our invigilator training).

We have a dedicated Account Manager who is on hand to ensure that each venue meets the needs of our training events and our delegates.
