Launched by The Exams Office in partnership with the National Association of Examinations Officers as a free-to-use online resource which centres can access to advertise their invigilator vacancies

INVIGILATOR RECRUITMENT & VACANCY MAP

The Exams Office has launched an initiative to support centres with the recruitment of invigilators ahead of this summer’s exams series and, therefore, in partnership with the National Association of Examinations Officers (NAEO), we have created the Invigilator Recruitment & Vacancy Map to enable centres to advertise their invigilator vacancies at no cost.

We will endeavour to support the maximum exposure for centres in the recruitment of invigilators thanks to the support which has been offered by the Department for Education (DfE). The DfE has agreed to publicise the Invigilator Recruitment & Vacancy Map to various organisations, communities and the wider public via its various communication channels ahead of this summer’s exams series and beyond.

When adding your vacancy, please ensure that:

  • Information relating to these vacancies is available on your centre website – and that a link to this information is ready to be added to the Invigilator Recruitment & Vacancy Map
  • You add the correct address for your centre
  • The location of your centre is shown accurately on the Invigilator Recruitment & Vacancy Map
  • You check that all details provided are accurate before submitting for inclusion on the Invigilator Recruitment & Vacancy Map

Please note that the Invigilator Recruitment & Vacancy Map is currently available to UK centres only. Overseas vacancies will be accepted from September 2022

2021/2022

For the 2021/2022 academic year, all centres can add their details to the map free of charge. The information will remain on the map until the end of June 2022, following which centres will be able to add updated information from September for the 2022/2023 academic year.

2022/2023

For the 2022/2023 academic year, all centres will still be able to add their details to the map free of charge.

However, additional functionality will be developed, including allowing users to be able to add:

  • An advertisement end date
  • The number of invigilator vacancies available
  • A free-text box to include additional information relating to your vacancy

Non-UK centres will be able to add their vacancies from September 2022.
