How to use the Provisional Exams Timetable Tool

The final Exams Timetable Tool will include added functionality including the ability to save filtered timetables, and the ability to download selections into an excel spreadsheet.

The Provisional Exams Timetable Tool does not enable users to save filtered timetables as this tool is available to members and non-members without a log in.

How to use the Provisional Exams Timetable Tool

Users can download unfiltered lists, filtered lists, and lists with only selected rows.

If you have selected rows from the list, you can use either choose ‘Download All’ or ‘Download Filtered’ – both will only download the selected rows you’ve ticked.

If you don’t tick or filter any selections, ‘Download All’ will download everything from the timetable, or ‘Download Filtered’ will include all results from a filtered list if the list has been filtered.

Information can be filtered by:

  • Date
  • Examination series
  • Awarding organisation
  • Qualification type
  • Examination code
  • Subject
  • Paper title

If you are searching by entering the ‘Examination Code‘ into the search field:

  • Type in the examination code
  • Once your chosen examination appears tick the box on the right hand side
  • Return to the ‘Examination Code’ search field
  • Click enter and type in another examination code
  • Once your chosen examination appears tick the box on the right hand side
  • Once all of your selections are made, select ‘Download Filtered (PDF)’ or ‘Download Filtered (Excel)’ if you want this information to open in a spreadsheet
