The Exams Office provides a comprehensive range of online videos to support centres in training their new and existing invigilators
These are a series of JCQ-compliant online video clips incorporating the latest rules and regulations relating to invigilation. They have been created to support exams officers who deliver their own invigilator training who may use these videos to confirm key JCQ information and highlight scenarios or specific situations which will stimulate discussion during their invigilator training session.
For new to role exams officers, in particular, these videos will provide invaluable support in training their invigilation team as they come to terms with the role in their first year in post.
Please note: These videos do not cover centre-specific arrangements such as the centre’s emergency evacuation procedure, exam start time, how candidates are identified, which members of staff are permitted to be present at the start of the examination and the tasks they will be undertaking, etc. It is the responsibility of the exams officer to highlight and explain these arrangements to invigilators.
