Our training is designed for exams managers/officers and senior leaders responsible for exams and assessments. Each training event is attended by a mixed audience of exams managers/officers and senior leaders, supporting shared understanding and joint oversight
Senior leaders are encouraged to attend a face-to-face training event alongside their exams manager/officer. Joint attendance supports effective contingency planning and provides an opportunity to review centre-level processes, clarify roles and responsibilities, and ensure compliance with JCQ regulatory requirements.
Each autumn, The Exams Office, in partnership with Cambridge OCR, delivers a national programme of training events focused on JCQ regulation changes for the new academic year.
These events are designed to build confidence, promote good practice, and reduce risk, ensuring centres are well prepared to meet JCQ requirements.
The training is open to all levels of experience; however, it assumes a working knowledge of the exam process and JCQ regulations.
