The Exams Office invited to join the JCQ’s Independent Commission into Malpractice

Following the JCQ’s announcement in August 2018 of the launch of an independent industry-led Commission into examination malpractice chaired by Sir John Dunford, The Exams Office can confirm that they will be contributing to the work of the Commission in the coming months.

The Exams Office is the only Exams Officer representative organisation invited to join the Commission.

Starting in September 2018, the Commission will consider malpractice in the context of both general and vocational assessments. A final report with recommendations for the sector is expected to be published in spring 2019.

Details on the full scope of the Commission, as well as the names of its representatives from across the sector, will be announced in the autumn.
